In the olden times, people in the southern part of India used to wash their feet with water kept in a brass Kindi or Bowl near the entrance before entering the house. They believe it removes not only the dirt but also the negativity.
Caring about the clean and tidy feet, Miriam Mathew, Owner of Lobelia Spa, Mumbai has shared a quick 5 step pedicure routine that you could follow at home.
What you will need:
Whenever you have time or you are tired soak your feet in a tub of lukewarm water with a pinch of salt, 1 tsp baking soda, some lemon juice, and liquid soap
Steps:
1. Add a pinch of Salt, Baking Soda, Lemon Juice, and a handful of Liquid Soap to the Lukewarm Water.
2. Leave your Feet in there for 10 minutes
3. Scrub your Feet with a Pumice Stone and Nails with the Lemon Peel
3. Dry your feet with a towel and rub your feet with a half-cut tomato dipped in sugar in a circular motion.
5. Wash your feet again & it’s done
