The Baked Boondi Pie is the Fun Fusion Recipe to our Beloved Laddoos

To all the sweet tooth enthusiasts, we present you to a very tasteful fusion Baked Boondi Pie by Chef Bimal Mahajan, Executive Chef, The Brewhive, Kolkata. This twist to our very dear and close to the heart “Boondi Laddoos” is a must-try folks!

Preparation Time - 30-40 Minutes

Serves - 2-3 People

Ingredient:

  1. Melted Unsalted butter, 50 gm
  2. Flour - 100 gm
  3. Sugar - 25 gm
  4. Boondi - 100 gm
  5. Rabri - 50 gm
  6. Mawa - 50 gm

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200℃
  2. Place the butter in the freezer for about 15 minutes, to harden.
  3. Put the flour into a bowl and grate hard butter into the flour. You may need a little flour on your fingers to do this.
  4. Using a knife/whisker, mix the grated butter into the flour. Fill up half the tart moulds with the mixture.
  5. Arrange Boondi on the sweet dough. Sprinkle with Mawa and Bake for 10 Minutes.
  6. Serve with a Slice of Apple.
