Sprouts Wada is the perfect nutrition loaded recipe of the very tasty Wada filled with the goodness of
moong sprouts, grams, and other healthy stuff. Check this crispy recipe by Chef Sunil Menon, Chef at

Ingredients
½ cup moong sprouts, blanched
1/2 cup split green gram skinless
2 tbsp split black gram skinless
2-3 green chilies, chopped
1-inch piece of ginger, chopped
1 tsp green chili paste
½ tsp garam masala powder
½ tsp pepper powder
4 tsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves, chopped
2 tbsp fresh shepu leaves, chopped
1 tbsp fresh mint leaves, chopped
Salt to taste
Instructions:
Mix the urad dal and moong dal.
Wash, clean, and soak in three cups of water for about two hours. Drain and keep aside.
Mix the soaked dals, half of the ginger, sprouts, and green chilies.
Grind this mixture into a coarse thick paste using very little water.
Transfer into a large bowl. Mix well and set aside to ferment for six to eight hours.
Once the mixture is fermented add salt, turmeric powder, green chili paste, garam masala, ginger, pepper powder and mix well. You can bake this vada mix in a microwave or steam it.
Grease the plate to use in the microwave. Place spoonfuls of vada mixture on the plate. Cook on microwave high setting (100%) for two to three minutes.
If you are steaming it, add small portions on an idli plate and steam it for 10-15 minutes.
