Preparation Time - 40 Mins (Incl. mix cooling time)

Serves - 2 People

Ingredients:

  1. Pear - 2
  2. Butter - 40 grams
  3. Raisins - 10 grams
  4. Cinnamon powder - 4 grams
  5. Sugar - 25 grams
  6. Salt - A pinch

For Crumble:

  1. Butter - 25 grams
  2. Oats - 50 grams
  3. Brown Sugar - 40 grams (In case you do not have brown sugar, you can use caramelized white sugar instead)
  4. Honey - 30 grams
  5. Sunflower seeds - optional
  6. Mint leaves for garnish

Instructions:

Step 1. In a pan, sauté pear with butter, cinnamon powder, raisins, sugar for 2 minutes and add orange rind/zest in the end.

Step 2. Remove the mixture in a bowl and allow to cool.

Step 3. For Crumble - In a pan, cook honey, butter, brown sugar for 2 minutes. If available, add the sunflower seeds to the pan while cooking honey, butter, and brown sugar together.

Step 4. Add oats and mix again for 30 seconds and remove from gas.

Step 5. Take out all the mix on a different bowl and allow it to cool completely.

Step 6. Assembly - Put the sautéed pear as the first layer to be used as a base. On top, arrange the oats crumble and dust with icing sugar and mint leaves to garnish.

Step 7. Adorn it with a scoop of ice cream on top of the crumble.

Pro Tip - Cherry on the top will be a perfect finish.
