Why is The Government Taking All Necessary Steps to Make you Download the Aarogya Setu App?

We’ve already been through a nationwide lockdown of about 40 days, and seeing the current conditions of the pandemic, it’s hard to say when this lockdown will be uplifted.

The Aarogya Setu app is being pushed by the government to help the citizens monitor themselves as well as the others around them. It has all the live updates related to the COVID-19 pandemic and alerts you in high-risk situations!

Earlier optional, it has now been made compulsory as offices are being opened. Hence, to keep everyone aware of their surroundings and the latest updates, it’s compulsory now to download the app.

This app also tells us when we’re at a high risk to travel, and when the risk is moderate or low, depending on the proximity of an infected person. Moreover, it has e-passes for essential service people, which makes it more convenient.
