Closed since the 25th of January, 2020, Shanghai’s DisneyLand is all set to reopen on 11th May, 2020. This will officially be the first Disney Theme Park to be reopening after being closed due to COVID-19 Pandemic.
Walt Disney CEO, Bob Chapek, said that seeing the signs of ‘normalcy’ in China, they’re ready to reopen Shanghai’s DisneyLand, but with proper precautions.
The Park that used to have almost an average of 80k visitors a day on previous days, will be entertaining only 30% of them i.e. 24k visitors at the max! They have medical facilities and PPEs for every staff member as well as guests in need!
